We are looking for a Senior Engineer, for Transport and Installation (T&I) of Offshore Cable to work within our Business Area Wind, Offshore Wind.
You will be part of the T&I Development and Engineering team within Construction & Logistic, working closely together with the Offshore Installation Manager and also supporting T&I Project Portfolio Director, T&I development managers, interfacing with Vattenfall’s Project Teams and first class Installation Contractors.
The Construction & Logistics Department is responsible for the development of transport and installation concepts of our future windfarms as well as is providing the technical know-how with regards to T&I on all our offshore projects in execution.
Hence, we are setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects, from the development and offshore construction phase to the offshore decommissioning stage

Your main tasks and responsibilities as Senior Engineer, T&I Offshore Cable:

  • Being the technical interface towards the Offshore Installation Contractors.
  • During prequalification and ITT delivery, support the procurement process regarding:
  • Project Specific content to be included in the Employer’s Requirements for the relevant scope including installation specifications and requirements.
  • Support the technical contract negotiations and ensure that the Employer’s Requirements, interface documents and Conditions of Contract are developed into contract versions,
  • Review, compare, evaluate and final acceptance of method statements risk assessments, safety procedures and design reports recommending additional analytical considerations if necessary.
  • Support the Installation Manager, manage day-to-day coordination, document review and communicate with the contractor, MWS, Client Representatives etc.
  • Support the lessons learned process ensuring that corrective actions are both documented and implemented.
  • Keep abreast of technical developments to ensure that Vattenfall’s technical standards remain current.
