Description:
Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale projects in the areas of photonic package design and process development.
- Manage projects to ensure they meet technical milestones and are delivered on time.
- Lead and develop new optical packaging processes with a focus on automation and scale-up.
- Design optical packaging solutions and collaborate closely with optical packaging researchers.
- Prepare and submit technical reports on research projects.
- Support the preparation and submission of new research proposals.
- Champion training and development of engineers using advanced packaging tools.
- Ensure compliance with Tyndall Quality Management system and Health and Safety standards.
- Participate in Education and Public Engagement activities, as required.
- Ensure all activities are compliant with the Tyndall Quality Management system and ensure the required Health and Safety standards.
- Carry out any additional duties as may reasonably be required within the general scope and level of the post.
