We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Mechanical to join our Integrated Engineering Services division, based in Adelaide .
As a Senior Engineer - Mechanical, you will be supporting the design and manufacture of critical components , with your duties including, but not limited to;
General mechanical engineering design and drafting to support research and development activities
Management / coordination of component fabrication and acceptance
Maintenance of engineering management tools
Any other mechanical engineering support activities as required by the task lead
To be successful in the role of Senior Engineer - Mechanical , you will need to bring with you;
Degree qualified in a mechanical engineering (or related) field
Proficient in multiple CAD software packages (specifically, Solid Edge)
Experience in producing detailed design drawings for component manufacture
Experience in the modelling of propulsion systems
Ability to undertake finite element analysis (FEA)
Competent with structural analysis tools and software packages (specifically, ANSYS)
Applicants MUST hold a Baseline Australian Government Security Clearance which will be upgraded to an NV1.
