QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or any related discipline
• 2 years of experience required in relevant industries
• Knowledge in network, computer, video transport technologies, audio, video and broadcasting system
• Good project management and computer network skill

DESIGNATION : Senior Engineer (Headend & Distribution)

RESPONSIBILITIES

To maintain the headend, fixed network (microwave and fibre contribution/distribution) and undertake related projects required for business needs. Ensure proper preventive maintenance is carried out to achieve high service availability. The Senior/Engineer of Headend & Distribution is responsible for operating the headend and fixed network (microwave and fibre contribution/distribution) and undertake related projects required for business needs. He shall ensure proper preventive maintenance is carried out to achieve high service availability.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in project planning and project management, including drafting specifications and evaluating technical proposal
• Provide technical support to operations in resolving issues, troubleshooting system configuration
• Perform maintenance of MATV/IPTV system, the contribution and microwave system and overseeing projects to upkeep the system
• Testing of new or replaced equipment and performing monthly maintenance such as parameter check, and or system upgrading duties
• Liaise with vendors to resolve faults and follow ups on installation or dismantle of equipment and upgrading and repairs
• Render support to big events (e.g., events of national significant such as elections, NDP/NDR, etc.)
• Performing standby 24x7 duty as and when necessary
