We are looking for a Technical Engineer to support our R&D team, compile technical reports, ensure compliance, and provide engineering support for quality and production enhancements.

Responsibilities:

Primary support to R&D team

  • Own and execute design transfer to Manufacturing in NPI environment.
  • Familiar with Product Life Cycle management
  • Keep track of milestones and manage project risks
  • Develop and assess Design for Assembly (DFA) considerations for new projects
  • Collaborate with production team members to design and evaluate jigs and fixtures for new projects
  • Investigation, root causes analysis and propose process/ design improvements to electromechanical devices.

Technical Documentation:

  • Compile technical reports from engineering evaluation and troubleshooting
  • Create and update assembly work instructions/drawings
  • Creates, edits, and maintains necessary documentation ensure compliance with ISO or industry standards & procedures
  • Train production personnel new processes and procedures.

Engineering Support to Quality and Production

  • Provide mechanical engineering support on ongoing product and process improvements during their manufacturing lifecycle
  • Liaise with the cross-functional team to address and resolve quality issues.
