    The Role
    Our Urban Communities team is looking for a talented Senior Civil Engineer to coordinate and take the lead on project delivery, people management and client relationship management across multi-stage urban/land development, solar and renewable energy, projects across NSW. This role is ideal for an experienced Civil Engineer looking to progress and grow into a Senior position.

With a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a hands-on capacity, you will play a key role in:

  • Providing advice and demonstrating strong technical skills producing engineering design for projects and design packages
  • Feasibility, concept design and project delivery of civil projects
  • Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and SMEC
  • Production of engineering reports and supporting tender proposals
  • Proactively collaborating with team members, contributors, and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness, and co-ordination of project deliverables
  • Mentoring and assisting with the professional development of junior engineers and designers

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 8 - 10+ years civil engineering experience, working for an engineering design consultancy
  • CPEng or working towards becoming chartered
  • Excellent civil design knowledge, with previous experience working on urban/land development projects
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of relevant civil software packages - Civil 12D, AutoCAD, Music & Drains etc.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian codes and standards
  • Australian working rights
