EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND

  • Minimum NFQ Level 7 Qualification in Engineering/Science/Manufacturing or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of design control, validation in a GMP environment.
  • Proven track record of managing and successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage cross functional relationships including external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the improvement and optimisation of a highly complex high volumes automation equipment.
  • A proven problem solver who can set clear strategy and prioritise. A proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to take prompt action to accomplish objectives and to work under own initiative

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to team (Technical, Operations and Quality) to enhance the performance in the delivery of supply of Freestyle Libre family of products are supply to the market on time and in full.
  • Work with Operations management a to ensure consistency of approach to building products.
  • Act as key technical interface between both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage multiple complex projects in parallel across multiple locations with cross functional , cross company teams
  • Identify and delivery CI Projects.
  • Develops and manages an Operations Communication strategy to provide regular updates to Management with respect to project status
  • Develops strategic vision for the delivery of complex engineering projects, reducing time to market and improving RFT performance
  • Create and maintain KPIs for the Manufacturing to ensure that process improvement activities are directed correctly
  • Review and agree engineering resource levels to ensure continuity of service
  • Create a development culture where staff are encouraged and empowered to develop as recognised industry SMEs
  • Coach and Mentor team members on performance and development needs.
  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and promoting good working relationship within the group.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Department quality system is implemented and that its effectiveness is maintained (e.g. Training Records, closure of ER/CAPAs, DM PM activities). Manage the metric for Work Order completion to ensure target levels are achieved.
