YOUR DREAM ROLE:

Are you ready to lead the charge in advanced analysis and predictive modelling for a renowned bus and coach industry leader? Alexander Dennis is seeking a dynamic Senior Engineering Manager to spearhead these critical functions across our diverse range of products. In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing engineers, continuously improving our closed-loop analysis processes, and driving innovation in advanced analysis and predictive modelling tools and techniques. Your expertise will ensure the integrity and reliability of vehicle structures and materials, making a tangible impact on the future of transportation. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership of all Design Analysis across our global products, in line with specification and according to QCD targets.
  • Management of the CAA team
  • Develop and advise Head of Department on best value analysis tools and methods to be applied to AD Products. Including looking at opportunities outside FEA
  • Day to day staff management
  • Identify and implement both internal and external staff training needs
  • Conduct staff reviews / appraisals
  • Regular travel ADL sites is essential
  • Conduct recruitment interviews
  • Implementation of CAA process and ensuring adherence across team.
  • Continues development of and control of the AD approved materials database
  • Work within CAA strategy in support of wider business goals
  • Analysis team Project Planning and resource allocations to meet business demand (including outsourcing if needed)
  • Managing software suppliers – ensuring Q+C
  • Any other duties as requested by the Chief Engineer: WVV
