Description:

  • $110k - $140k + super
  • Fully Remote - New South Wales based position
  • Wide Variety of Sectors - Renewables, Government, Transport etc

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary education in environmental sciences, environmental planning or related field
  • Minimum 5 year’s experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on environmental assessments, impact studies and management plans
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering projects across numerous sectors
  • Experience with NSW legislation
  • Strong experience with full pre-approvals process

Responsibilities:

As the Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in the team responsible for planning, preparing and managing environmental assessments (REFs), environmental impact studies (EIS), and environmental management plans.

Other day to day duties will include:

  • Collaborating with project teams and monitoring project progress
  • Providing expert technical advice and guidance on REFs and EIS’
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders and regulatory authorities to understand project authorities and address environmental concerns
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Mentor and guide junior consultants
  • Other duties as necessary
