Responsibilities:
The Senior Environmental Advisor (Remediation) role is a newly created opportunity in our HSE Strategy, Planning and Projects Team based at our Perth Head Office site.
The purpose of this role is to support Synergy’s contaminated sites and remediation activities, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate objectives.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Support the implementation of Synergy’s contaminated sites 5-year plan.
- Provide sound technical advice on contaminated sites assessments and remediation, leading to both cost-effective and sustainable outcomes.
- Design and oversee the implementation of contaminated site investigation projects across a variety of operational and legacy sites.
- Contribute to the design and execution of sustainable remediation solutions.
- Support the development of Synergy’s long-term waste management strategy.
