W e are seeking a passionate , s enior n urse to support and promote the d igital transformation agenda for medicines management at The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust .
We are looking for an experienced, registered nurse who is interested in ensuring that all healthcare professionals enhance clinical medication safety practices by implementing and maturing digital IT solutions to its maximum effect.
You will be working as part of the EPMA Team, a multidisciplinary team of clinical informaticians.
We have successful ly deployed Careflow Medicines Management Electronic Prescribing Medicines Administration (EPMA) system and ChemoCare for chemotherapy electronic prescribing and are on a journey to replace our existing EPMA system, with Oracle Health.
You will be responsible to assist with the configuration and implementation of the new EPMA system as part of the wider EHR programme team, whilst also supporting the EPMA team with day to day activities for the maintenance and optimisation of the existing EPMA and ChemoCare system.
This could involve protocol and report building, conducting audits, providing training and floor walking to support end-users.

We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping.
