  • Are fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Have experience of functional competencies
  • Have experience of Siemens PLC’s, WinCC and Oracle
  • Have experience in Cybersecurity standards

And it’s a bonus if you:

  • Have good knowledge in SCADA systems, ANDON systems and methodology

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Join our team as Senior Equipment Engineer for Manufacturing Engineering Painted Body where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our electrical and PLC systems, and be the local owner of the SCADA and ANDON systems within new projects. As a member of our team, you’ll actively participate in relevant technical organizations, representing VCC and staying at the forefront of industry advancements. Your commitment to following established working methods will ensure consistency and quality in our operations.
Your transparent communication style will keep stakeholders informed of status updates and deviations, facilitating timely resolution. You’ll be in charge of planning and prioritizing your own tasks according to delivery and verification needs.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all new projects adhere to the highest standards for installation and implementation.
  • Overseeing the correct delivery of incoming projects related to SCADA and ANDON systems, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Leading or actively participating in equipment projects, overseeing their development, planning, procurement and verification.
  • Creating and analyzing equipment layouts within our processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Providing third-line analysis support to Industrial Engineering, Production and Maintenance teams.
  • Sharing expertise with Production and Maintenance teams to empower them in their roles.
