If you answered yes to these questions, the Prince William County Office of Equity and Inclusion is the place for you!
The Office of Equity and Inclusion is looking for an experienced administrative professional to provide direct support to the director of equity and inclusion. This position works directly with executives, elected officials, county departments and the general public. The right person for this position must have outstanding administrative skills and presentation skills and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in a constantly evolving environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The successful candidate will work closely with the director of equity and inclusion. Individuals in this position have first contact with citizens, elected officials, businesses, and other county agencies that engage with the county executive’s office. Successful candidates must be inviting, have the ability to defuse negative situations, and manage expectations. In addition, the incumbent for this position must have outstanding administrative skills, presentation skills, and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality in a constantly evolving environment.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 4 years of related experience.

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in human resources-related field, marketing, journalism, or communications with DEI related experience.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Monday - Friday 09:00 am to 5:30 pm. The successful candidate will assist with evening meetings as needed. Strong sense of internet culture and trending content.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: A background check is required
STARTING SALARY: $64,311.00 - $90,650.50 Annually
