We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator position with a prominent infrastructure firm, located in Auckland. This role presents a thrilling chance for an experienced professional to contribute to precise cost estimates and efficient tender processes.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Previous involvement in Roading and Utilities projects or contracting.
• Expertise: 3-5 years of proven estimation experience within the sector.
• Qualifications: Hold relevant tertiary qualifications (B.ENG or QS).
• Technology Skills: Proficiency in electronic tendering systems, particularly CCS Candy.
• Communication: Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Cost Estimation: Produce meticulous cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Tender Coordination: Manage the tender process effectively, delivering estimates in a timely manner.
• Quantity Management: Develop and update schedules of quantities, providing necessary guidance to team members.
• Site Experience: Utilize practical knowledge to deliver detailed estimates from first principles.
• Client Interaction: Engage in client meetings, contributing to pre-qualification documents and project plans.
• Methodology Input: Offer insights into Tender Construction Methodologies and pricing strategies.
• Technological Proficiency: Utilize electronic tendering systems for seamless tender setup and management.
• Negotiation Support: Participate in post-tender negotiations and contribute to risk management efforts.
