JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5-7 years of commercial roofing estimating
• Blueprint proficiency and a firm understanding of contract documents.
• Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent customer relations skills
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast past environment.
• Estimating a certificate would be considered an asset.

• Strong ability to sell and pitch quotations to customers.
• Execute take-offs of production document
• Utilize computer for cost analysis of the material, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
• Submitting the proper measurements and tenders
• Develop and maintain relationships with our customers, consultants, and clients.
• Preparing estimates for assigned jobs.
• Preparing and following up on quotations and tenders
• Reviewing all contracts and accepted quotations
• Writing up work orders
• Assist with daily production operations as required.
• Assisting Service with preparing prices for extras or credits
• Stay informed of all new materials and techniques by attending material manufacturers’ trade shows, seminars, etc.
• Attending pre-tender site meetings to prepare an accurate estimate.
