We have an exciting vacancy for a Senior Estimator to join our busy and expanding team here at FLI Precast Solutions, a leading precast manufacturer. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for precast concrete projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and other factors.
- Collaborate closely with the sales, design, and production teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and timelines.
- Analyse project specifications, drawings and other documentation to understand scope and identify potential risks or opportunities.
- Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and cost analysis to optimise project profitability.
- Utilise industry knowledge and best practices to provide value engineering suggestions and cost-saving solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Participate in bid reviews, negotiations and presentations to clients as needed.
- Liaise directly with our sales team, engineers, project managers, operations team and estimating manager to develop an understanding of the optimum solution for the project.
- Present technical and commercial proposals to the sales team for submission to clients.
- Create bill of pricing for projects to bring forward for commercial review internally.
- Manage estimating list of required submissions to a timeline.
