We are looking for an experienced Senior Events Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract. The candidate will work with the Events team on all logistical and administration aspects of events. They will work with regional marketing, creative, DMO, PR, Tech Marketing, developer relations, sales, finance, Corp shipping, and partners on specific product brands across of parts of the business. The role includes working with events suppliers such as events agencies, event registration platforms, venues, travel agencies/DMCs, catering services, hostess agencies, AV companies, carrier/logistics companies. The key purpose of the role will be to organise events ranging from tradeshows, conferences, sponsored events, partner events, press tours, product launches and internal meetings in Europe and ME. The candidate will be based in the German Munich office and will report to the Head of Events EMEA, for all event activities. The position may require occasional travel within EMEA.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Full, Event Project management of NVIDIA’s attendance at various international events.
  • Project Manage full database, registration, sponsor portal, hotel bookings, CXO
  • Project management with Creative team, Digital Marketing, Mktg, PR/Social media teams
  • Select and manage suppliers, request quotes for production and AV companies, exhibitors, catering, printers, during the event planning process to ensure everything is in order.
  • Source venues, propose locations and run site inspections for stand-alone events.
  • Manage all logistical elements and event activation for individual events.
  • Manage budget forecasts, budget management, vendor quotes, POs & invoice payments working closely with EMEA finance team.
  • Drive weekly planning meetings,, set agenda, deadlines, action lists, key owners, statuses, etc.
  • Contribute to events themes, creativity, branding and events collateral.
  • Maintain and update the NVIDIA events SharePoint
  • Manage invitations, online registration & delegate management, build & manage attendee lists, reg desks on site at events.
  • Coordinate onsite support/management during events, delegates, attendees’ travel schedules, staffing, rooming lists, catering.
  • Help to train and coordinate event staff / brand ambassadors on site at events.
  • Support the production of post-event reports, online surveys and monthly events activities reports.

What we need to see

  • Well organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities, flexible, adaptable, able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience. Ideally hold a Bachelors in a related degree.
  • Fully capable to work in a virtual team, strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Highly capable in organizing and driving events/tradeshows from A to Z.
  • Strong connections within the events ecosystem, with experience of working successfully with suppliers in all relevant fields.
  • Able to manage and stick rigorously to allocated budgets.
  • Self-motivated, able to multi-task and prioritize own workload.
  • Effective team player: can-do attitude, friendly and helpful, showing cross cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Quick learner with an enthusiasm for technology.
  • Good at problem-solving and able to keep calm under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite Google Workspace.
