Description:
The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition (CLIC), funded by the
National Research Foundation (NRF)
in Singapore and coordinated through the
Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES)
, is a collaboration between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the University of Cambridge.
CLIC is a flagship programme in the Science of Learning to harness advancements in neuroscience to develop cognitive training programmes for the improvement of lifelong flexible learning, focusing initially on adolescents and young adults, but also envisaging work with infants and older adults. This is a strategic global initiative for the Universities of Cambridge and NTU that brings together multidisciplinary expertise from over 30 investigators in the areas of Neuroscience, Psychology, Linguistics and Education across the two universities.
CLIC invites applicants to join the research programme as a Senior Executive, Administration. You will work closely with the Centre Director and research team to support the smooth functioning of CLIC. This is a 2-year contract position and it is subject to possible extension.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently handle procurement processes, includes raising Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO) and Good Receipts (GR).
- Prepare financial documents required by funding agencies.
- Verify sub-project reimbursement claims accurately.
- Monitor and align the Center’s expenses with NTU and funding agency guidelines.
- Ensure compliance and prevent unauthorized purchases.
- Manage invoice submissions to grant agency.
- Coordinate with NTU Shared Services for procurement tasks and provide RISE verification coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or project management or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, Words, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to details and strong time -management.
- Good written, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting and funding processes is preferred.
- An effective team player with a positive working attitude
