Description:
OVERVIEW:
The Executive / Senior Executive / Assistant Manager will be responsible for the development and management of assigned clinical service(s) across the continuum of care (within NUH and/or in the community), achieve intended clinical and operational outcomes, ensure delivery of quality service, strive to meet volume and financial targets, and improve effectiveness and efficiency of internal processes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree preferably in any of the following - Business Management or Administration, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences
- Required Competencies and Capabilities (Skills, Experiences and Professional Licences)
- Good analytical skills
- Experience in project management
- Practical knowledge of hospital operations (ideal but not a must)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel / Powerpoint
- Able to communicate effectively
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Able to work well in a team-based environment
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of clinical service(s) within the assigned division
- Ensure smooth operation of these clinical services, which may include resolving operational issues, administrative support, addressing business continuity and patient safety matters, etc
- Work closely with other departments to ensure a holistic service delivery that generates positive experience for patients along the continuum of care
- Conduct proper planning of new clinical service(s) or pathways where assigned, which includes stakeholders engagement, providing projections on workload, identifying resources required and getting the necessary approvals to secure these resources, and manage key project timelines to deliver the project(s) on a timely basis and within budget
- Secure budget and monitor utilization as well as manage procurement of equipment and consumables to support the operation of the clinic/ ward.
- Support any Departmental-wide initiatives that impact clinical areas
- Support any other duties or projects as assigned by his/her Reporting Officer
