Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.
THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

DESIGNATION : Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, HR (Compensation and Benefits)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Human Resource Management or related qualifications with at least 3 years of relevant C&B experience in medium to large matrixed organizations
  • Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in total rewards including salary structure design, salary reviews, market benchmarking competitiveness studies, job evaluation.
  • Well-versed in local employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Frontier software will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, adaptable, meticulous and organized.
  • Good business and people acumen with the ability to frame HR initiatives and expertise in a business context.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.
  • Well-developed prioritization, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Self-initiated, able to work independently and collaboratively within the team.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and discretion, while building trust and upholding confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compensation

  • Plan and design competitive compensation and benefits in the social service sector.
  • Participate in compensation and benefit processes including appraisals to support salary increases, promotions and bonus payments and assist in annual salary structures review.
  • Research and analyse information on compensation statistics, market sentiments and economic indicators to support C&B strategies and initiatives.
  • Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees.
  • Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity
  • Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data.
  • Participate in planning and reviewing annual manpower budget assumptions and projections for submission to Finance.
  • Manage annual compensation projects and initiatives (e.g. bonus calculation, salary reviews, budgeting).
  • Keep track of prevailing pay rates and ensure competitiveness of the compensation plans.
  • Review C&B process regularly to ensure process efficiencies and compliance.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting for effective surveys and audits

Performance Management

  • Collation and analysis of cluster-wide annual Total Performance Management (TPM) results and preparation for Senior Management review and moderation.
  • Manage annual performance appraisal process to ensure employee and manager sign off on the performance appraisal forms.

Benefits

  • Lead annual Group insurance renewal and submission by working closely with insurance broker.
  • Work with broker to analyse trends and highlight areas of concern to Management e.g. claims experience, work injury trends etc.
  • Work with site HR to ensure accurate reporting of data required for insurance renewal.
  • Lead staff benefits programmes.
