Job Description
The Data Analyst will analyze data generated from various sources – paid media, organic, CRM, business data and others – to draw out actionable insights. The primary focus will be on using social listening and reporting tools as well as operating within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver on scheduled and ad-hoc reports for the client. He/she will communicate these insights to internal and external stakeholders, and work with them to drive data-led strategic recommendations and decision making focused on optimization of social media executions, customer journey setup and first-party data collection.

Main Tasks

  • Extract data from social listening tools (Hootsuite, Netbase) and synthesize insights into regular reports with actionable insights.
  • Build dashboard views in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
  • Extract, analyze and report on data from SFMC (segmentation, attrition, etc.) for regular / ad-hoc reporting needs.
  • Connect lead forms from social media in SFMC.
  • Monitor data flows and quality in campaign journeys.
  • Providing and presenting strategic data-driven recommendations across channels to improve client decision-making and ROI.
  • Creating unified insights across owned digital assets and providing performance recommendations.
  • Serving as a client and internal resource on industry trends and key functional areas such as analytical tools and marketing measurement.
  • Fostering creative thinking around how we use data, and we could use data to solve unique business challenges in support of all Marketing activities (Media, Creative, CRM, and eCommerce).

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics or strategy with an advertising agency, management consulting company, or ad tech company
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Computer Science, Information technology or Human-Computer Interaction or related educational concentration
  • Experience using Hootsuite or similar social media management tool.
  • Experience using Netbase or other similar social listening tool.
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with managing external/client relations, including dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills and ability to transform data into a concise, yet compelling story.
  • Ability to synthesize information and produce insightful and accurate analysis and recommendations.
  • Highly organized and impeccable attention to detail. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver accurate reports without grammatical or data errors.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, takes ownership, self-starter, and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to think of the bigger picture and link performance data to business actions.
  • Skilled user of MS Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.
