Description:
Our client is a reputable Shipping MNC. Currently, they are seeking an enthusiastic and self driven candidate to join them as “Senior/Executive (Line Management)”.
In this role, you will be responsible for the following :
- Improve cost efficiency and optimize yield
- Cost control
- Manage and resolve claims (cargo claims, container damage, vessel damage) in consultation with legal team where required
- In collaboration with the Commercial department, acquire, compile and maintain trade statistics and reports for analysis and decision making
- Space management of various services, prompt space arrangements to be carried out during contingencies
- Selection of cargo that delivers best NTV returns
- Close liaison with multi-agents to ensure online booking forecasts are updated timely in online system;
- Scheduling of services, liaison with operations and agents, including dissemination of schedules Key
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Business or Business Management
- Preferably 2 years or more experience in shipping line, involving in trade. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues across departments and various internal & external stakeholders
- Independent and result oriented
- Strategic thinker
- Ability to focus on tasks and analyses situations, systems, and problems
- Ability to make quick decisions supported by information and data gathered
- Able to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written
