We are looking for a resilient and friendly Senior Facilitator to join a team that works in partnership with people who use our services, to enable them to live as independently as possible and to be part of their local community. Staff are required to work shifts on a rota basis.
In return, Autism Initiatives will provide you with a full induction and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent to the role. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.
The successful candidate will be afforded all necessary training and development in line with the role.
SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED OF A SENIOR FACILITATOR
- Awareness of key worker role and philosophy surrounding support to people with complex needs.
- Proven knowledge of current legislation and regulations relating to the Social Care Sector
- Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism
- Proven ability to work on own initiative
- Proven experience in the implementation and development of support/care plans and PCP’s
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Full drivers licence essential
