Description:
Applications are invited for the position of Senior Faculty Estates Officer within the Directorate of Estates and Facilities team.
The Faculty Estates teams play a pivotal role within the University acting as the key interface between the academic Faculties and Professional Services teams who occupy the buildings and the Estates and Facilities Directorate who manage and maintain them.
In addition to providing strategic guidance on property and buildings matters and operational support for the academic Schools and Research Institutes, the role of the team is to ensure that campus, buildings and facilities are managed in line with the expectations of the end user clients, and the University’s Strategic Plan.
As a Senior Faculty Estates Officer, you will represent the Estates and Facilities Directorate
across the University providing advice on strategic and operational property and facilities matters. You will be a team player who has the ability to communicate using a variety of methods and possess strong interpersonal skills required to ensure you can contribute to the smooth running of the campus operation.
You will hold an appropriate professional qualification, ideally to a chartered level in a related construction discipline. You will have a proven track record of providing buildings/facilities related services and advice in a customer focused environment where working to specified deadlines and document management and reporting are paramount
