Senior Fashion Designer

GINLEE Studio is an independent local label that designs, develops and retails our own products locally and abroad. We are looking to hire a Senior Fashion Designer to join our dynamic team and grow with us!
As a Senior Fashion Designer, you love designing all times and think out of the box some time so to push the collection to new fronts. You will be designing across different categories from clothing to accessories. You are disciplined and organised to managing timeline and team and you are able to think both creatively and makes business senses. You are able to spot trends and display business acumen in your ability to apply product strategy.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in fashion design or related field
• 4-5 years design experience
• Self starter with strong ownership
• Proficient with design software
• Excellent design and conceptual skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to run with projects and meet multiple deadlines

• Collection Management from Planning Collection, Sales, Trends, Brand and Timing
• Pull together collection that reflects the business sales target needs
• Run through the target and work on proposal collection
• Housekeeping of samples, digital files
• Identify trends and needs for our target customers
• Conduct market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
• Manage design process from conception through to final styling
• Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts
• Sourcing of fabrics and trims to boarden ranges and improve quality
• Review product for style and fit during presentation.
