Description:
he ASB Financial Crime and Investigations team play a vital role in protecting our Customers, Organisation and the Community against the impact of Financial Crime. Our Sanctions Operations Team are responsible for ensuring ASB Bank’s compliance with various sanctions and financial crime obligations. We now have a two 6-month secondment and 1 full time permanent opportunity to be based at ASB’s North Wharf building.
As a Senior Financial Crime Analyst in the Sanctions & Operations Team you will play a vital part in disrupting the impact of Financial Crime in New Zealand.

As a Senior member of the team, you will manage the more complex customer expectations on resolution and timeframes being cognizant of the needs of our clients.
You will proactively support the Manager or Team Leader to drive a culture of Continuous Improvement by reviewing, validating and adapting processes to accommodate business and volume changes and to ensure that all internal processes are continuously reviewed to deliver efficient, accurate and compliant processes.
You will be responsible for the management of financial crime assessment, investigation and remediation to meet ASB’s regulatory obligations and supporting a strong risk culture including the timely identification and escalation of risk.
