REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in accountancy, Finance or equivalent
  • 5-8 years of experience in financial systems and reporting in a MNC environment.
  • Self-motivated, committed and hands-on nature.
  • Possess strong communication skills and able to navigate sophisticated matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident, adaptable, able to multi-task, handle priorities and deadlines with minimal direct supervision.
  • Able to elevate perspective at the appropriate time based on target audience, though also possessing attention to detail, with the ability to provide accurate and reliable work.
  • Desire to formulate and drive process improvements, challenging status quo.
  • Keen learner and can quickly learn ERP systems usage and navigation.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Hyperion Financial Management, Smart View, Oracle PLN or PowerBI would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Support finance reporting, analysis and planning process for MSD SEA and India Business.
  • Lead and drive FP&A workstreams, including forecast, variance analysis, business reviews and reporting.
  • Drive functional excellence through the establishment or improvement of processes that facilitate alignment between all collaborators in a matrixed organization.
  • Support and drive strategic planning, financial analytics and participate in ad-hoc projects, such as financial modelling and analytics, evaluating GTM strategies and supporting business cases for investment proposals.
  • Lead and coordinate operating plan and prepare analysis for review.
  • Proactively drive continuous improvement, to identify, develop, and implement enhancements to existing processes, data analytics and reporting to better support the business. Find opportunities to streamline routine analysis, seeking to build leverage through automation and developing business intelligence capability.
  • Forming effective business partnerships with commercial leaders and providing support to meet business goals and targets.
  • Mentor and develop other junior analysts in the MSD team.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
