Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted liaison to cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and achieve business objectives.
- Be a key part in the development and execution of the financial planning process, including annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
- Working with project managers to drive accuracy of revenue forecasting.
- Update complex financial models and run analysis on these.
- Develop financial models where required to support decision-making within the business.
- Analyze business performance metrics, including revenue and overheads. Identify and investigate variance between actuals and budgets/forecasts, providing explanations and recommendations to management.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for management, summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities within the business.
- Conduct system data validation to ensure accuracy of reporting.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and business needs.
- Minor level of other financial support duties
