Summary: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior Finance Director will serve to bring a comprehensive and accurate vision of the business performance and financial efficiency by partnering with key stakeholders across the Company both in Headquarters and Markets. They will supervise the performance of the business model of the Company, through actual analysis and forecasts. The Finance Director also oversees the global accounting function, ensuring the timely delivery of the audited consolidated financial statements for the company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10-15 years of Finance, Management Control, and/or FP&A experience (beauty/retail/consumer goods industry preferred)
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance, CPA a plus
- Strong understanding of transactional IT (ERP) and Business Intelligence tools
- Outstanding interpersonal, coaching, and listening skills with the ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
- Highly effective at building and nurturing relationships across the organization to maximize teamwork and collaboration, while effectively listening, coaching, and guiding objectively with compassion and accountabilit

Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead all financial reporting to the senior leadership of the business, including budgets, strategic financial plans, and consolidation reporting.
- Partner with our Chief Commercial Officer to serve as a financial business partner to the General Managers in the Markets and Function Managers in Headquarters.
- Strategize and lead an increasingly rigorous and disciplined financial processes to drive business clarity and ensure full visibility to business opportunities and risks.
- Identify & define potential financial risks and implement corrective actions.
- Build and populate financial models to measure and protect rolling business success.
- Issue monthly reporting to Senior Leadership Team:
o P&Ls by region and brand
o YTD performance/YTG targets vs. Budget
o Opportunities & risks
o Gross margin analysis
o Currency fluctuation impact
o Product Development financial update
o Financial KPIs related to Supply Chain (COG by product, variances, Inventory valuation, Transportation costs)
- Guide, develop, and mentor Kayali’s Finance team with specific focus people development/growth and creating operational centers of excellence.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance, as well as deliver key data and metrics to drive short/long-term business decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to give final sign off on cost controls, pricing targets, inventory optimization, advertising spend, travel/expense, etc.
- Operations and Supply Chain: Partner with Supply Chain management to monitor the efficiency of industrial and logistic operations.
- Employee Costs: Partner with the P&C team to monitor employee costs KPIs, work on annual compensation planning, and set the framework for annual bonuses and salary increases.
- Manage the implementation of new finance/business reporting tools.
- Management of the global accounting and treasury function:
o Deliver unqualified consolidated and standalone audited financial statements.
o Continuous improvement on the efficiency of the monthly financial reporting
o Implementation of controls and procedures
o Close monitoring of the financial entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
o Monthly monitoring of cash + annual projections to ensure a healthy cash flow.
