Description:

  • Ensure timely submission of monthly financial and management reports to Management.
  • Guarantee compliance with IFRS and local GAAP in annual statutory reporting.
  • Recommend, establish alignment, and implement internal controls for business and financial processes

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely submission of monthly financial and management reports to Management.
  • Guarantee compliance with IFRS and local GAAP in annual statutory reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate Income Tax (CIT) and indirect taxes such as GST, and maintain accurate accounting of Corporate Income Tax and Deferred Tax.
  • Maintain oversight to ensure SG&A expenditures remain within budget.
  • Uphold corporate governance standards for both the Company and the Group.
  • Recommend, establish alignment, and implement internal controls for business and financial processes.
  • Collaborate with auditors on audit matters and external tax advisors on tax compliance and planning.
  • Ensure adherence to audit timelines.
  • Collaborate in the design, implementation, and review of finance systems, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement and relevance.
  • Oversee finance systems managing transaction flows from source through interfaces to the general ledger.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and complete maintenance of finance ledgers structured to serve both internal users and statutory obligations.
  • Ensure timely delivery of reporting functions and responses to ad hoc requests for financial information.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Provide support for the new ERP rollout, ensuring inclusion of company requirements.
  • Undertake any other ad hoc assignments as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Certified CPA and relevant experience in Big 4 is preferred
  • 10 – 15 years of experience in similar function
  • Sound knowledge in accounting fundamentals
  • Knowledge and experience in using SAP Accounting System and Oracle Budgeting System will be an added advantage
