We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance SOX and Risk Analyst to join our high performing Financial Control team.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, as our Senior Finance SOX and Risk Analyst you’ll be responsible for business processes and services in relation to Process & Operational Risk Management and Controls Testing.
You’ll have a finance background and be our resident project management SME; SOX will be second nature to you, and you’ll bring your superb organisation skills to ensure our tight timelines are met at every turn.
This key role is quite broad as it will address 100+ controls. You’ll own the coordination of the testing in line with global policy. You’ll ensure frameworks are in place and provide 1st line functional support to users in addressing operational risk and SOX related issues coordinate key control testing across business units and 2nd line business contacts. Additionally, you’ll facilitate operational risk management and drive improved control and risk with respect to SOX.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all SOX testing across ING Australia
  • Document business requirements, systems architecture and processes
  • Develop, implement and maintain the operational risk and governance framework
  • Review and enhance the risk and controls framework across Finance, providing value-adding advice, and assisting with embedding a robust operational risk and compliance framework
  • Ensure key stakeholders are kept informed and aligned with initiatives and planning around SOX with global head office
  • Implement any new SOX or Key controls and testing across ING including gap analysis
  • Perform Finance RCSA while supporting Finance and the Business with the testing of SOX controls
