Senior Finance Specialist

As part of the highly motivated Finance team the Senior Finance Specialist will be involved into various accounting responsibilities. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Executive role.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices and principles (SFRS, IFRS) advantageous
• Knowledge and experience of accounting applications advantageous
• Audit experience is a plus

• In charge of performing day to day financial transactions, including accounts receivables and accounts payables duties
• In charge of AP operations, record suppliers’ invoices and prepare payments
• In charge of AR operations, ensure accurate and appropriate recording of revenue and expenses
• Record and reconcile financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Keep accurate records for all daily transactions, and prepare balance sheets
• Posting of transactions to journals, ledgers, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements, tracking bank deposits and payments
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes
• Participate in ERP project
• Assist with ad-hoc assignments as directed by Finance Group Manager
