Job Summary
Anord Mardix (Ireland) Ltd have a unique opportunity for a Senior Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Controller and will manage the existing Finance team, based at the offices in Dundalk, Co Louth. This is an excellent opportunity to learn new skills and further your experience in a vibrant and growing environment.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and monthly Group reporting pack for review by the Assistant Controller;
  • Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants;
  • Review and approve all profit and loss and balance sheet accounts;
  • Management of accounts payable process;
  • Management of accounts receivable process;
  • Preparation of weekly cashflows;
  • Management of all Intrastat, VIES and Vat submissions;;
  • Management of all tax submissions and payments;
  • Preparation of Group Audit files and liaising with Group Auditors to deal with queries;
  • Review of project progress to ensure timely submission of payment applications;
  • Other ad-hoc duties as they arise.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Minimum 5+ years post-qualification experience working in a similar role;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related experience;
  • Experience in managing and motivating a finance team;
  • Excellent Commercial and Business Acumen;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills;
  • Excellent knowledge of Irish RCT/VAT and EU VAT laws ;
  • Good time management skills, ability to prioritise tasks to achieve objectives within tight deadlines and work within a team;
  • Be an effective communicator, self-motivated, with good organisational skills and have the ability to work on their own initiative;
  • Demonstrated pro-active, practical & flexible approach to work;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentational skills.
