Position Title: Senior Financial Accountant

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
Centric Health’s Finance team is expanding to meet the needs of a growing business both in Ireland and Europe. This dynamic role involves a wide range of activities and broad exposure to the Healthcare industry. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the candidate will work within a finance team with exposure to the Executive Management Team as well as the Board. The business has overseas subsidiaries in The Netherlands and Germany but is unlikely to be required to travel to these locations initially.
The successful candidate will need to be a qualified accountant, have strong people management skills, the ability to work to deadlines, and analytical expertise within a data-rich environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Month-end – manage the month-end process in conjunction with the remainder of the team producing timely and accurate month-end reports to tight deadlines, month-end analysis, and reporting.
- Maintenance and review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Schedules.
- Bringing operational and financial data together to provide support for business decisions and for Financial analysis and reporting on financial KPIs, trends, and forecasting.
- Working closely with finance partners who work within GP Practices and supporting their accounting process.
- Provide month-end reports and other ad hoc reports (i.e. payroll / KPI data) for internal purposes.
- Cashflow management and forecasting.
- Involvement with the external audit process through interim and final Annual audits.
- Review internal controls and ensure an appropriate internal control environment is in place and developed in line with business changes and growth.
- Review systems and processes to increase automation and efficiencies, using existing systems and reviewing and implementing new systems to meet business growth and development.
- Managing the payroll process and review and approval of bank payment files.
