SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Industry experience in FMCG is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Prior experience working within one of the Big Four accounting firms.
  • CA or CPA qualified alongside work experience in a senior level finance role.
  • Advanced IT skills with Oracle Fusion knowledge, or similar ERP cloud-based system.
  • A strong can-do attitude and desire for career progression.
  • The ability to seek out improvements and drive process enhancements.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Financial Accountant within our Corporate Finance team, you will provide strategic business partnering to our Corporate Cost Centres. With your analytical skills and commercial acumen combined, you will be responsible for:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducting a review of detailed monthly expense reports.
  • Preparing P&L and providing variance analysis.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the corporate monthly actuals (including accruals).
  • Budget and forecast preparation for the corporate cost centers.
  • Review and post journals for accruals/prepayments.
  • Support Shared Services with account coding, funding and facilitate manual payments.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations on a timely basis.
  • Collaborate effectively with other corporate finance functions.
  • Supporting the half year review and year end audit.
  • Support and contribute to process improvement initiatives within Finance.
