Responsibilities:
Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, the Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) will be working closely with a cross-functional team in providing key analytics to support data-driven decision making. You will act as principal analyst for target setting, financial models, budgets, and forecasts for new initiatives, keeping a rolling forecast and ensuring alignment and adherence to regional and global long-term priorities.
- Analyze key operational and financial metrics on a timely basis to facilitate data-driven decision making, proactively stress-testing plans for multiple scenarios. Provide regular updates on key metrics and risks and opportunities to business and management
- Lead coordination, consolidation, and analysis of weekly regional Gross Margin, with focus on insights for action
- Develop expertise on the end-to-end flow of information from trading system to financial, from actuals to reporting and planning systems to be able to develop analytical models to influence the business
- Partner with market and global stakeholders to create annual budget and forecasts to deliver business objectives, competitive landscape, long-term strategic goals, and key metric thresholds.
- Carry out studies and ad hoc business performance analysis and summary notes according to business priorities and leadership requests.
- Anticipate needs from the team and identify opportunities to create value and streamline processes and systems. Partner with Group FP&A Team to drive process standardization and system improvement projects
- Provide senior leaders leverage in decision making by assisting with information gathering, being a connector between different parties, monitoring plans, keeping track of responsibilities, and so on
