Description:
For our Cardiac Rhythm Management division, we are recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to be based in Zaventem, Belgium.
The senior Financial Analyst position is a critical role, enabling the commercial and financial leadership to make data-based decisions on all topics having an impact on the financial profit of the division. It includes sales and margin analysis, SG&A cost analysis, market data analysis, ad-hoc analysis as well as systematic data support.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a fully trusted and accepted business partner on all levels of commercial and financial leadership within his area of responsibility.
- Work with large, complex data sets to support implementation of data solutions that help predict, improve, and measure the impact on financial profit of business decisions.
- Develop and run reports and provide analysis to management for plan setting, forecasting as well as actual P&L management in relation to sales, margin, SG&A cost, and marketing data.
- Consolidate data provided by regions and analyze, present and comment from an EMEA perspective, providing meaningful insights as well as executive-ready presentation to the EMEA CRM leadership as well as to the divisional CRM FP&A team.
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, out-of-the-box thinking, as well as a high level of thoroughness and scrutiny laying solid foundations and backups for bottom-up-built analysis.
- Organize and maintain a system with all relevant data easily accessible to EMEA CRM management, interacting with colleagues and third parties.
- Ensure that best operating processes are in place to timely and effectively gather and consolidate information from EMEA regions as required.
- Drive continuous improvement for own area of responsibility.
- Drive forecasting accuracy, transparency, and standardization to support the business on forward-looking decision making.
- Active participation in improvement projects.
