QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’a degree
  • 3-5 yrs of related experience, preferably in a healthcare organization.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to interpret data and present clear and concise reporting.
  • Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Must be able to deal tactfully with team members and managers.
  • Excellent Excel skills are required.
  • Database experience a plus.
  • Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers, and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are traits needed to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE/BELIEF STATEMENT:

The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with gathering cost and related data to support the production of internal routine healthcare reports, ad hoc studies, as well as regulatory requests as required. In addition, the Senior Financial Analyst will create and maintain Excel workbooks to compare monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance metrics, medical cost, and utilization data and identify and track data anomalies. This position will work closely with the CFO to aid and perform routine tasks.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure timely monthly reporting package completion and distribution.
  • Create and review reports, analyze variances, and distribute to management.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Create a relationship with Corporate partners and produce reporting package utilized by both organizations.
  • Assist Accountant Role by collecting, organizing, and sharing relevant data.
  • Assist leadership with collecting support and tracking during various audits.
  • Function well in a start-up type environment. Prioritize and shift focus when competing priorities emerge. Adapt and work on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Other finance projects and functions as assigned.
