REQUIREMENTS:

  • CPA/CA designation from public practice (Big 4 preferred)
  • 3-5 years of progressive work experience in accounting/auditing under IFRS or US GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail
  • Self motivated and driven, ability to challenge the status quo
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Team player with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong systems experience including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in software or technology sectors
  • Exposure to M&A and purchase price allocation, multi-subsidiary consolidation
  • Understanding and experience with SOX controls and required documentation

Responsibilities:

Financial Statement Close & Reporting

  • Ensure a timely and accurate close of month-end in a multi-company/multi-currency environment
  • Prepare and review month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare stand-alone and consolidated financial statements and related note disclosures
  • Coordinate the year-end external audit and address any issues as they arise
  • Prepare and analyze financial results for senior leadership
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting
  • Research accounting issues for compliance with GAAP and ensure the appropriate accounting policies are applied by the finance team

Treasury and Other

  • Prepare quarterly bank covenant calculations and related reporting requirements
  • Liaise with external tax consultants and ensure corporate tax filings are completed on time
  • Provide indirect supervisory support for the finance team
  • Other special projects and ad hoc duties as required
