J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) belongs to the Innovative Medicine Companies of Johnson & Johnson. J&J IM Principal Operations is a global organization located in USA, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Singapore and Switzerland.
Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.
We are recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the IMPO Controlling Team in Switzerland.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in finance/economics with +3 years of proven experience
- Strong functional knowledge of Finance (Accounting, Controlling, Compliance)
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently within a virtual organization
- Flexible and able to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to interact all management levels
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English
- Self-motivated and keen to grow and develop

Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate monthly currency hedging cycles and perform Balance Sheet hedge exposure identification for IMPO Swiss entities
- Perform monthly FX analysis, hedge accounting, FX currency revaluations and balance sheet reconciliations for IMPO entities based on Switzerland
- Ensure finance and accounting processes meet all compliance standards, sustain effective controls in alignment with SOX, Accounting Policies and other legal requirements, support internal and external audit requests
- Partner closely with Accounting and Reporting team, Hedging Global Treasury team and across IMPO on currency initiatives and projects
- Act as a subject matter expert for Global Currency Projects (e.g. SigniFx)
- Champion process improvements and automation, identify ways to live into technology enhancements and deployment of digital solutions to increase efficiency of hedging processes and currency risk management
The role reports to the IMPO Controlling Senior Finance Manager.
