WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our client, who are a long – established entity is seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst in Co. Kildare.
Senior Financial Analyst will handle Management Accounts and Financial Reporting and communicate to the Management team, providing financial analysis, commenting on budget differences, and reporting KPIs as needed. The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Finance Manager.
This is permanent hybrid position.
Responsibilities:
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fulfil monthly duties such as compiling and posting monthly journals, finalizing month-end accounts, reconciling monthly balance sheets, and conducting necessary financial analysis.
- Create financial reports for management meetings, adding more unit-specific operational performance indicators to the KPI dashboard, highlighting differences in costs for each department.
- Collaborate with budget managers to aid ongoing efforts to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Analyse financial data to explain differences from the budget and propose actions to meet budget goals.
- Contribute significantly to drafting yearly budgets and weekly forecasts for senior management, clearly explaining the underlying assumptions and numbers.
- Lead significant finance projects, including transformations, process enhancements, system upgrades, and other business needs.
- Oversee a portion of the finance team, offering guidance and leadership on key aspects.
