Description:

Overview:
This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity for a highly motivated individual to play a key role in supporting, influencing business decisions and growth. Reporting to the Finance Director, Global Operations, this is a critical business partner to the local stakeholders which encompasses global manufacturing, procurement, materials, facilities, supply chain / logistics, quality, R&D, tax, treasury and corporate reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on manufacturing results against budget, forecasts and prior year, including price and quantity variances.
  • Understand BOM changes and their financial impacts.
  • Participate in product standard costing exercise.
  • Identify & present business risks and opportunities, with data driven analysis.
  • Provide financial analyses and reports to support decision making for strategic goals.
  • Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan process with relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide support to other areas of Operations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/ACCA and 12+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing & supply chain entity.
  • Experience with SAP, advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis/query skills; and Analysis for Office strongly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Comfortable with Matrix reporting structure and US MNC.
  • Organized, structured thinker with ability to handle multiple assignments, work flexible hours, consolidate and analyze/interpret information/data from multiple, disparate sources.
  • Ability to work independently, guide and collaborate with fellow team members.
