We are actively hiring a Senior Financial and Tax Accountant to join an award-winning globally trusted broker. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a significant part in managing various tax returns, month-end reports, balance sheet reconciliation, consolidation of intercompany accounts, and exposure to management accounting.
Key responsibilities(but not limited to) :
- Working closely with the finance teams to prepare required annual and statutory financial reports for the Group entities
- Accurate and timely delivery of tax reporting deliverables
- Helping with a range of indirect taxes, including payroll tax, GST and FBT
- Assist with business and financial month end reporting
- Review the operating P&L, balance sheet and supporting reconciliations
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reporting processes and disclosures, ensuring compliance for annual audits
- Manage the end-to-end accounting operations of the business
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards for the corporate entities
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including auditors
- BAS / FBT Reporting
- Provide Executives with management reporting (e.g. payroll, cashflow, costing) insights, analysis and recommendations
