Responsibilities:

You are part of our global finance team and report to the Cluster controller who is responsible for the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Central Eastern Europe & Adriatic region.

Your main areas of responsibility are:

  • Be the finance SPOC and the finance key person for your scope by helping the business to translate strategic decisions in financials and use the financials to help steer in the right direction
  • Support your finance colleagues of the cluster where needed
  • Understand the business model and market to be able to challenge the business where needed
  • Based on financials and business discussions, manage risks and opportunities together within your business
  • Owner of the budget, forecast and long-term planning of your scope
  • Perform monthly analysis and challenge the financials, in comparison with budget, forecast & previous year as well as historical trends of your scope
  • Interact with local accounting and billing/invoicing teams
  • Provide ad hoc analysis e.g. business cases to support management with financial decisions
  • Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of processes
  • Participate in local and global initiatives, this may request occasional travel
