Description:
The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for driving the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis functions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence key business decisions through data-driven insights. The Senior FP&A Analyst will report to the Director of FP&A.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CFA or CPA required).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (or related field) with a proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment (ideally multinational or large enterprise) with exposure to multi-currency situations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial software (OneStream, Sage300) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, effectively conveying complex financial information.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating across departments.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement with high integrity and professionalism.
This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead annual budgeting, including departmental input and long-term financial modeling.
- Monitor budget performance and recommend improvements.
- Create financial forecasts and analyze financial results to identify trends and opportunities.
- Generate reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key insights.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis and support strategic decisions.
- Enhance financial literacy through training for non-finance managers.
- Implement process improvements and leverage technology to streamline FP&A activities.
- Stay updated on industry best practices in financial planning and analysis.
