Responsibilities:
YOUR ROLE
As a Finance Manager at ELCA Cloud Services (ECS), you will hold a pivotal role in our organization, reporting directly to the Group CFO and maintaining a dotted line connection with the General Manager of ECS. Your responsibilities will encompass guiding senior leadership through meticulous, data-driven financial insights and analysis, shaping critical decisions that drive our business forward. With minimal supervision, you will adeptly manage a diverse array of finance, accounting, and administrative tasks, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment.
This exciting opportunity is based in Zurich, a vibrant hub of global finance and innovation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Team Management:
In this role, you will lead a team consisting of a Financial Analyst and an Accountant, both stationed in Granada, fostering collaboration and maximizing productivity across geographical boundaries.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly Income Statements and Balance Sheets, conducting insightful analysis and highlighting key variances against budget and project milestones.
- Supervise the work of the Accountant in Granada, ensuring alignment with management objectives.
- Lead the annual budget preparation process and provide regular updates.
- Compile comprehensive management reports on a quarterly basis and contribute actively to board and management meetings.
- Coordinate with auditors to ensure timely completion of yearly audits.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct rigorous monthly analysis of business line P&L statements, offering strategic insights to drive performance.
- Provide financial leadership in evaluating new business opportunities and structuring the pipeline.
- Perform competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform strategic decision-making.
- Contribute a strong business perspective to budget preparation and ECS Leadership Team discussions.
- Promote cross-business best practices and oversee initiatives to reduce overhead costs.
Treasury:
- Develop and monitor a 12-month rolling cash forecast, optimizing working capital requirements.
- Propose and manage intercompany loans in accordance with tax regulations.
