JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Firmware Development Engineer, you will use your skills and experience to lead on the development of embedded software to produce new communication systems. You will take pride in your existing knowledge of embedded software development and electronics, and this will help you to program our complex products
You’ll enjoy working with engineers from other disciplines to develop systems and will be joining a team of engineers working on new product developments in radio and control systems. Alongside this, you will demonstrate your leadership abilities and get involved in system design, software architecture, and coding.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work on the end-to-end development of new products.
  • Be involved in proving designs by implementing tests and performing code reviews.
  • Support products and investigate reported defects.
  • Contribute to project planning and meetings.

Things you need to know

NATIONALITY REQUIREMENTS

Open to UK nationals only.

Responsibilities:

To apply for this role, you will already have,

  • Significant experience of coding experience in standard languages such as C/C++/Python/React.
  • Experience in software development for embedded platforms, bare-metal, RTOS or Embedded Linux.
  • Able to technically lead the design and implementation of embedded software systems.
  • The ability to debug complex systems with software and hardware tools
