Description:
This is a hybrid role out of Provo, Utah. In office Monday- Thursday; work from home Friday.
About the Role:
This position is part of the Americas FP&A team at Nu Skin. The Americas FP&A team is committed to providing financial support to the various Nu Skin markets and Americas functions through financial analysis, budgeting, planning and forecasting. In this role you will be responsible for providing all aspects of financial support for several of the Americas functions. You will gain experience working in a global and cross-functional company with interactions from all parts of the world. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leaders. This role will report to the Director of FP&A.
What you’ll do:
- Assist in consolidation and reporting of financial results weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
- Prepare financial budgets, forecasts and business cases (projections modeling) for functions, projects and initiatives
- Prepare and evaluate variance analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Monitor and analyze financial data for cost control and alignment to targets
- Partner with the internal functional leaders and improve transparency and consistency
- Develop, enhance and validate monthly reporting dashboards in Power BI
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
- Communicate frequently with management and counterparts
- Assist in the training and development of finance interns
- Support the month-end close process and work closely with the accounting team
- Manage system tasks in the Adaptive reporting application and complete monthly tasks
- Contribute to cross functional programs and projects
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks timely
- Ability to read and understand financial information and forecasting models
- Advanced in MS Excel spreadsheets and formulas
- Proficient in MS PowerPoint
- Ability to learn ERP systems and reporting dashboard applications
- Good presentation and communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under time guidelines and pressure
- Accomplish tasks in a timely manner and provides regular updates
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work remotely while maximizing productivity and organization
- Willingness to be flexible and attend occasional meetings with other countries during non-business hours
