Mō te tūranga | About the role
This will be a 12-month contract role, working closely with the Digital Engineering team in supporting the Front-End Development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to component library
  • Designing, coding, testing, and documenting large programs and modifications
  • Assessing, analysing, and implementing change based on design and request
  • Maintaining application support processes and investigating/monitoring issues
  • Release and deployment activities (i.e. logging results, documenting technical activity undertaken)
  • Working in an Agile environment

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

  • At least 7 plus years substantial web development experience in JavaScript and React. Commercial experience is preferred; your own experience is welcome (with proof of capability).
  • Knowledge across service layer. Affinity with UX/UI and an eye for detail is beneficial.
  • Products used include but not limited to JavaScript, React, Redux, Redux-Saga, SASS, HTML5, Jest, React-Testing-Library, Webpack, Docker, Jenkins, Git & Bitbucket, Selenium, Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is beneficial.
  • Experience with functional programming
  • Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Experience working in Agile environments
