A Silicon Valley-based startup - KODIF - is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer!

  Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Software Engineer to join our team in San Mateo, California. The ideal candidate is a frontend guru who also has the ability to write backend code. You will play a key role in shaping our product’s user experience while ensuring seamless integration with our backend systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in React, Redux, MaterialUI, and Chakra.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with backend technologies like NodeJS, Java Spring, and Python.
• Familiarity with AWS services, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks like Cypress.
• Experience in the Customer Support industry is a plus.
• Experience working in a startup is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Commitment to code quality and continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React, Redux, MaterialUI, and Chakra.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Implement automated testing and continuous integration using Cypress.
• Take ownership of projects and drive them from concept to completion.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and technical direction of the platform.
